Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is the final standard for our faith, doctrine, and daily living.
The One True God
We believe in one eternal God, who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father (John 1:1-14, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Salvation Through Grace
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but given by God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers for holy living and service. His gifts and fruits are active in the Church today (Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22-23).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, evangelize, and disciple nations. Every believer has a role in advancing God’s kingdom (Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 4:11-16).
Water Baptism & The Lord’s Supper
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ and in the observance of Holy Communion as a reminder of His sacrifice (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to reign in glory. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12).
Living a Holy Life
We believe that believers are called to live a life of righteousness, holiness, and obedience to God’s Word, reflecting His love and truth in all we do (1 Peter 1:15-16, Romans 12:1-2).
At JCCI – House of Blessing, these truths shape our faith, mission, and commitment to glorifying God in all things.
